What does the white horse in Revelation 6 stand for?

I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. (Revelation 6:2)

As the first seal is broken, he who sits on a white horse symbolizes all followers of Christ throughout the ages who have already conquered.

The “bow” in his hand – its Greek root derives from a verb which means “to produce, to labor.” In other words, this person who rides on a white horse, like a pregnant woman going through labor pains before delivery, is preparing to receive a new life from God.

The phrase “he went out conquering and to conquer” refers to the saints who were willing to follow Christ in conquering together with the Lord during the Millennial Jubilee...
